Clinical Supervision

Supervision is a form of “extra-vision”.  It is a collaborative working alliance between two professionals conducted in a safe and supportive environment that allows the supervisee to offer an account of their work, reflect on it, receive feedback, and set goals to achieve their long and short term professional development objectives.  The work of the supervisor is to challenge and stretch the learning and professional growth of the supervisee, to enable the supervisee to gain in ethical competency as stipulated by the professional guidelines set by their work place and professional association; grow in confidence; and in creativity in order to give the best possible service to their client(s).

How do I get started? The first session is free of charge. It is a half hour consultation that provides you with an overview of the supervision approach and models that inform our practice; and enables us to learn about your professional development needs to ensure we are the right service for you. For more information please visit the Professional Supervision and Coaching Centre website.
