Counsellor Toolbox: everything you need for your first session and beyond

This workshop will assist ‘to be’ and newly graduated counsellors in their transition from study to practice by providing up-to-date knowledge on industry requirements, review psychosocial resources available for counsellors to use with clients to assist with assessment and treatment planning with the view to achieving best practice outcomes for clients; and promote avenues for ongoing professional development to help you meet professional member association requirements and foster ethical competency.

 

Who should attend?

This workshop is suitable for final year counselling and social work students; and newly graduated professionals who provide counselling services.

Facilitator and Fee

Charlene Pereira is a registered counsellor and clinical supervisor with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA). She is also a tertiary educator and clinical supervisor with the Australian College of Applied Psychology and Monash University
